The Barley Store

The Barley Store is one of four barns here at Honies Farm. It's on a working farm in Elston. You're surrounded by fields. It's quiet.

The barn conversion sleeps four. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well finished. There's underfloor heating and it's generally very comfortable.

The layout is all on one level, which is handy. The stairs to the mezzanine bedroom are a proper spiral staircase. They're quite tight.

You get your own enclosed patio area with furniture. It looks out over the fields. It's a good spot in the morning.

There's a shop and a pub about three miles away in Farndon. The pub there is by the River Trent. You can sit outside and watch the boats.

Newark is five miles away. You can get boat trips on the Trent from there. Nottingham is about eighteen miles. Lincoln, with the cathedral and the castle, is twenty-three miles. All of that is within half an hour's drive.

If you like walking or cycling, you're in the right place. The farm is on quiet lanes and there are plenty of public footpaths.

For facilities: there's parking right outside, a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and a Smart TV so you can use your own streaming accounts. Bedding and towels are included. We allow one well-behaved dog. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them.
