Angel Lodge is on a farm in Cotham, Nottinghamshire. It's detached and just for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. The rating is 5 Star, which means it's been finished to a high standard.
The main point is the lake. Your bedroom has French doors that open onto a private deck looking right over it. You can have your coffee there in the morning. There's a separate bit for outdoor dining too. Inside, it's open plan from the lounge through to the kitchen. The bathroom has a walk-in shower and a roll top bath. The bath has a view of the lake.
The stairs are a spiral staircase. They're fine, but worth knowing about.
You can walk from the lodge into about 170 acres of private woodland on the farm. The River Devon runs through it. You're allowed to swim in the lake if you want to. There's a lot of wildlife here, including roe deer and long eared owls.
Newark-on-Trent is the nearest proper town, about ten minutes by car. The marina there is nice for a stroll along the River Trent. Newark Castle is in the town centre. Southwell is about a 20 minute drive. The National Trust Workhouse is there and it's interesting. Nottingham is roughly half an hour away for the castle and city things. Lincoln is about 40 minutes if you fancy a day out.
Facilities: There's parking right by the lodge. Wifi, bedding and towels are all included. The kitchen has what you'd need. No pets.
