The Arches is one of four converted barns here at Honies Farm. It's in Elston, which is a quiet village in Nottinghamshire.
It sleeps seven. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, which basically means it's well finished and everything's new and works properly. There's underfloor heating.
It's open plan downstairs. The stairs are a bit steep, but they're the original ones. The garden is enclosed and looks out over fields. You get your own parking space right outside.
Inside, there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, and a Smart TV so you can log into your own Netflix. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a high chair if you need them. No pets, I'm afraid.
The farm's in the countryside. There's a shop and a pub about three miles away in Farndon. The pub there overlooks the River Trent.
For days out, Newark is five miles away. You can get boat trips on the river from there. Nottingham is about eighteen miles, good for shopping or the cricket. Lincoln is twenty-three miles; the cathedral and the old quarter are worth seeing.
If you like walking or cycling, there are plenty of routes from the door. You can store bikes here. The fishing on the Trent is local and well known.
