The Vintage Store is in Elston, near Newark. It's a barn conversion. You're staying in a barn, basically. It's not old and draughty though. It's got underfloor heating and modern bits.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. There's room. Rating is 5 Star. I think that says it's comfortable and finished nicely.
It's on a working farm, so there are fields around. The garden is enclosed, so it's fine for dogs. You can have up to two pets. There's a patio to sit out on.
Inside, it's open plan downstairs. There's a Smart TV with Netflix and that sort of thing if you log in. Wi-Fi works. The usual stuff: dishwasher, washing machine, bedding included. A cot and highchair are there if you need them.
It's quiet here. There's a pub three miles away in Farndon by the River Trent. A shop about the same distance. Newark is the proper town, about five miles away. You can get boat trips on the Trent from there. Nottingham city is about eighteen miles.
If you like walking, it's good from the door. The area's flat, mostly, good for cycling. You can fish locally. Lincoln with its cathedral is about a twenty-three mile drive.
For planning days out, National Trust East Midlands has places. Visit Nottinghamshire is useful for the wider area.
