The Vintage Store
The Vintage Store is one of four barns at Honies Farm. It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. It's a 5 Star place, so it's finished to a good standard.
The barns were done up a few years ago. They kept things like the beams where they could. It's all underfloor heating, which is good in winter. The main living space is open plan.
You've got your own garden area, and it's fully enclosed, which is useful. You can bring up to two dogs.
Inside, it's got what you'd expect: a dishwasher, washing machine, TV with internet so you can log into your own services. Towels and bedding are included. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them.
The location is quiet, out in the fields. You're on a working farm, but it's separate from the main house. There's parking right outside.
For shops and a pub, you need to drive about three miles. The closest one is in Farndon, by the River Trent. It's nice to sit outside there when the weather's good.
Newark is about ten minutes away by car. You can get boat trips on the river from there. Nottingham is maybe half an hour, for shopping or the cricket. Lincoln is about forty minutes. The cathedral is worth seeing. Closer by, the area is good for walking and cycling. There's fishing locally too.
