The Flat Whitchurch

The Flat is in Whitchurch town centre. It's the upstairs floor of a converted house. You get your own front door, then the stairs go straight up to the apartment.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's clean and comfortable but not posh.

You're right on the high street, so you can walk to the shops, cafes and pubs in a minute. There's a co-op for groceries.

It's good for a dog because you can get straight out of the door and onto the pavements. We allow one dog.

The stairs inside are quite steep and narrow. Just so you know.

For days out, Chester is about half an hour's drive north. The zoo is on that side of Chester. Shrewsbury is about 25 minutes south. Telford is about 20 minutes east, and the Ironbridge Gorge museums are there.

Locally, Alderford Lake is a couple of miles out of town. They've got a walk around the water and a cafe. Hawkstone Park Follies is about 15 minutes' drive. It's a big park with odd structures and caves to walk through.

Facilities: WiFi, TV, washing machine, cot and highchair are there if you need them. All bedding and towels are included. Parking is on the street, but we provide a permit for one car.
