The Foundary Whitchurch

The Foundary is one of three barn conversions, sat together in a field just outside Whitchurch. It's a 5 Star place, which means it's been done up to a high standard. Everything's new and clean. You get your own garden with the hot tub. It's private, but you will see the other two barns from it.

It sleeps four in two bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own bathroom with a shower, which is handy. There's a wood burner in the living room. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine. Parking is right outside.

Being a barn conversion, the ceilings are high inside and some of the original features are still there. The floors can be a bit echoey because of that. It's very quiet out here, you'll just hear the birds.

Whitchurch town centre is about a 20 minute walk. It's a proper market town with a few pubs, some shops, and a supermarket. There's a train station there too, about ten minutes on foot from the barn. You can get a train to Shrewsbury or Chester from there easily.

If you drive, Shrewsbury is about half an hour. Chester is a bit further, maybe 40 minutes. Chester Zoo is huge and about a 30 minute drive. For a walk, the Shropshire Union Canal is nearby. Ellesmere and its meres are about 15 miles north.
