The Dairy is a converted barn off the main road between Whitchurch and Malpas. It's part of a small group of barns. You've got your own enclosed garden and a hot tub out there.
It sleeps six in three bedrooms. Two bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well done and comfortable. The conversion is modern inside, proper underfloor heating from the biomass boiler. There's a woodburning stove in the main room too, if you want the look of it.
Whitchurch town centre is about a fifteen minute walk. There's a decent co-op and some pubs that do food. One of the restaurants has a Michelin mention. Whitchurch station is ten minutes on foot if you fancy getting the train to Shrewsbury or Chester.
The location is quiet. You look out at fields. The Shropshire Union Canal is nearby for walks or cycling, you can pick it up close by. For a longer drive, Chester is about 25 miles. The Roman walls and the shopping are good. Chester Zoo is roughly half an hour away.
Other places within half an hour include Ellesmere and its meres, Hawkstone Follies park, and the Ironbridge Gorge museums. If you're into planes, RAF Cosford is about twenty minutes and has a free museum.
Facilities: there's parking right outside. WiFi, TV, dishwasher, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
