The Garden Retreat
The Garden Retreat is in Marbury, a quiet village in Cheshire. It's a one-bedroom place for two, attached to our house but completely private. You get your own walled garden.
It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's been checked for comfort and quality. Everything is new and works. It's all on one level so it's easy to get around, and there's parking right outside.
The main thing is the view. You look out from the garden over the village and the lake. You can see the church. It's very peaceful.
The local pub is about a minute's walk away. They do food. The nearest shop is in Whitchurch, about three miles. The Shropshire Union Canal runs nearby if you fancy a walk or want to go cycling. The Cheshire Cycleway goes through here.
If you want to go further, Shrewsbury is about half an hour's drive. It's a nice old town with shops and places to eat. Chester is a bit further, maybe 45 minutes. For walks, Delamere Forest isn't far.
Inside, it has a kitchen with a dishwasher and washing machine, a shower room, and the bedroom has a double bed. All the bedding and towels are included. There's a TV and WiFi. There's a cot and highchair in the cupboard if you need them. The garden has furniture and a barbecue.
No pets, I'm afraid.
