The Hayloft is a converted barn on the edge of Whitchurch in Shropshire. It's one of a few on the same site, but you've got your own garden and a private hot tub out there.
It sleeps six, across three bedrooms. There's two bathrooms, which is handy. It's got a 5 Star rating, so everything is in good order and finished to a high standard.
You can bring one well-behaved dog. The stairs inside are the original barn ladder stairs, so they're quite steep and open-tread. They're fine if you take your time.
You're about a ten minute walk from Whitchurch station, which is useful. Trains go to Shrewsbury and Chester from there. The town centre is a similar walk. There's a good butcher, a couple of supermarkets, and some nice pubs. One of them has a Michelin Bib Gourmand.
For walks, the canal is close by. The Shropshire Union Canal and the Cheshire Cycleway are right there if you want to go straight out on foot or bike.
Within a half hour drive you've got a few places. Hawkstone Park Follies is about 20 minutes away, that's good for a walk with some unusual scenery. Ellesmere and its meres are a short drive north. Chester is about half an hour if you fancy a day out shopping or seeing the cathedral. Chester Zoo is roughly the same distance.
In terms of what's here, it's all included: bed linen, towels, WiFi, parking. There's a wood burner, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. The garden is enclosed.
