Walker's Retreat Clehonger

Walker's Retreat is a first floor apartment in Clehonger, just south of Hereford. It looks out over paddocks towards the village. You share the main entrance area and boot room with the apartment below, which is handy for cleaning up after a walk. There's a shared washing machine there too.

It sleeps three people in two bedrooms. One double and one single. The double has a small balcony overlooking the courtyard. The bathroom has a bath with a shower over it. The living area is open plan, with the kitchen, dining table and sofa all in one room. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's well equipped and comfortable.

It's called Walker's Retreat for a reason. You can get straight out onto footpaths from the door. The Offa's Dyke Path isn't far, and you can drive into the Black Mountains or over to Hay-on-Wye in well under half an hour. Hay is good for bookshops and a weekly market.

Hereford is about ten minutes away by car. The cathedral is there, with the Mappa Mundi. You've got all the usual supermarkets and shops too.

The facilities are all listed, but the main ones are the parking, the WiFi, the garden patio, and the EV charger. Bedding and towels are included. One well-behaved dog is welcome. We provide a cot and a highchair if you need them.
