Crarae is a bungalow in Sannox on Arran. It's right across the lane from the sea. You can see the water from the front windows.
It sleeps eight in four bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. It's a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. Everything's on one floor, which is handy.
The main room is open plan. There's a wood burner for cooler evenings. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you're bringing a dog.
You're basically on the beach. It's a sandy bay, good for a swim if you're brave enough. You can walk out the door and be on the coastal path. Sannox Bay itself is a few minutes walk along the shore. People go kayaking and paddleboarding there.
You might see seals from the house. Sometimes dolphins go past. The hills start right behind the cottage. You can walk up into Glen Sannox from here.
Corrie Golf Club is about ten minutes walk down the road. There's a pub in the village too. The shop is in Corrie, which is a bit further.
If you want to explore, Brodick is about a twenty minute drive. That's where the ferry comes in and the castle is. The whole island is accessible, really. The National Trust for Scotland looks after a lot of the walks and gardens here.
Facilities: everything in the list is there. WiFi, TV, highchair and cot are provided. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog.
