Jacobs Plock is a modern barn conversion just outside Leintwardine village. It's detached and sits on its own bit of land, so it's quiet and private. The views are over fields.
It sleeps six with three bedrooms. There are three bathrooms, which is handy. Two are en-suite. The beds are super king size. One of them can be split into two singles if you need it.
The whole place is on one level, which is good for accessibility. It's an eco build, so it's off-grid. Don't worry, you've got power and hot water. It's just done efficiently. There's underfloor heating throughout.
You come in to one big open room. The kitchen's at one end with an island. It's got a dishwasher, washing machine, an air fryer and a coffee machine. The living area is at the other end with a wood burner. We leave some wood for you to start with. Sliding doors open onto the garden.
Leintwardine is a small village. It's got a well-stocked village shop with a fuel station. There are two pubs. One does proper meals by the river. The other is a restored parlour pub for drinks and snacks. There's also a good fish and chip shop.
For a day out, Ludlow is about ten miles away. It's a proper market town with good shops, a castle and food festivals. You're also close to the Shropshire and Welsh borders here, so there's a lot of history and walking. Offa's Dyke isn't far.
Facilities: All bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair. WiFi works fine. You can bring up to two dogs. Parking is right outside.
