Damil Cottage Muir of Alford

This is Damil Cottage. It's on a farm about three miles outside Alford, in Aberdeenshire. It's one of two identical cottages side by side.

It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean but not a show home. There's a woodburning stove in the living room, which is nice in the evening. The kitchen has what you'd need to cook.

You're on a farm, so it's quiet. The back door opens straight onto fields. It's a good spot if you have dogs, there's space for them straight out. You can do walks from the door without getting in the car.

Alford has shops, cafes, and a couple of pubs. It's about a ten minute drive. There's a golf course a couple of miles away.

If you want to go further, the Cairngorms are about a 40 minute drive west. Balmoral Castle is a bit less than an hour's drive. Aberdeen is about 45 minutes away for a bigger city day.

The cottage has a washing machine, WiFi, TV, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
