Ivy Cottage is in Dent, in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. It's a one-bedroom cottage for two people.
It's got a 5 Star rating. It's modern inside. The bedroom has a super king bed, which can be split into two singles if you ask in advance. The shower is big, a proper walk-in one. There's a wood burner in the living room. You get a Smart TV and Wi-Fi.
The main thing is the space outside. There's a private enclosed garden with a patio, which is good for dogs. Speaking of which, we take up to two. There's also a separate utility room out there. It's got a washing machine, tumble dryer, a sink, and a shower for washing off muddy dogs or bikes. There's a bike rack too.
The cottage is on the edge of the village, about a five-minute walk from the centre. Dent's got that classic Dales look: cobbles, white cottages, a couple of pubs and a tea room. The Dales Way path goes right through it, so it's popular with walkers. The Pennine Cycleway comes through as well. The River Dee is nearby for a stroll.
You're right between two big areas of hills. The Howgills are one way, the Pennines the other. The Lake District National Park is about a 30-minute drive if you fancy a change.
Facilities: all bedding and towels are included. There's a dishwasher, washing machine, and parking for one car on the drive.
