This is Hen House View 1, up near Haslingden in Lancashire. It's one of a pair of semi-detached houses, both identical. They're on a 30-acre site, but you've got your own fenced garden bit at the back.
It's all on one floor, which is good if you don't want stairs. Sleeps eight, but the third bed's a sofa bed in the snug. So three proper bedrooms, all with their own showers. There's a family bathroom too, with a proper bath.
It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's well kitted out, new feeling. Everything's open plan, big windows. You get the views from most rooms. The kitchen's got a dishwasher and there's a utility room with a washer and dryer. Parking is right there.
It's quiet up here. You're close to the West Pennine Moors for walking. Rossendale is just down the road. If you fancy a drive, you can be in the Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty or the Ribble Valley in about half an hour. Manchester city centre is about 45 minutes if you need something more urban.
No pets, sorry. Bedding and towels are included.
If you're looking for walks or ideas: Forest of Bowland and National Trust Lancashire are good places to start.
