Hen House View 1

Hen House View 1 is in Haslingden, Lancashire. It's a modern, single-storey property, one of a pair that are identical. You get your own exterior space at the back.

It sleeps eight. There are three bedrooms and they all have their own shower room. There's also a main bathroom with a bath. One room has twin beds, the other two are doubles. There's a small snug room off the living area with a sofa bed, which is where the eighth person would sleep.

The main living space is all open plan. The kitchen, dining table and living area are in one big room with very large windows. The views over the fields are the main point, really. It's on a farm, so you're looking out across about 30 acres of land. You're free to walk around the farm tracks but the livestock fields are private.

The property has a 4 Star rating. It's well-finished, everything is included like bedding and towels, and there's a washing machine and tumble dryer in a separate utility room. There's parking right outside.

Haslingden is a small town. There are supermarkets, takeaways and a few pubs within a few minutes' drive. For a bigger day out, Manchester is about 40 minutes by car. The Trough of Bowland and the Forest of Bowland are good for driving and walking, maybe 25 minutes away. The West Pennine Moors are right on the doorstep for more walking.

Blackpool Pleasure Beach is about an hour's drive if you've got children to entertain. For a city visit, Liverpool is just over an hour away.
