Hen House View 2 is a modern single-storey cottage on a farm in Haslingden. It's one of two identical houses next to each other, but you have your own garden and parking. The main thing is the view. They're big picture windows so you're looking right out over the fields.
It sleeps eight, but it's three bedrooms. There's a twin and two doubles. They've all got their own en-suite shower rooms. The fourth bed is a sofa bed in a small snug room off the living area. There's also a separate main bathroom with a bath. The place is all on one floor, so no stairs.
Inside it's open-plan. The kitchen, dining area, and living room are all one big space. It's nicely finished and clean. It's got a 4 Star rating so it's well equipped. You get a dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, and Wi-Fi. Bedding and towels are included.
Outside, it's part of a 30-acre farm. You can walk around but they ask you to stick to the paths and your own garden area.
For things to do, you're about 25 minutes from the centre of Manchester by car. Rawtenstall has a market and some shops. The Trough of Bowland and the West Pennine Moors are right on the doorstep for walking. For a day out, the National Trust has Stonyhurst and Gawthorpe Hall nearby. You're not far from the Yorkshire Dales or the Lake District either, both about an hour's drive.
If you're a bigger group, you can book the cottage next door as well. They're mirror images so together they sleep sixteen.
No pets allowed, I'm afraid.
