Bridge Cottage

Bridge Cottage is in Earlston, in the Scottish Borders. It's detached and was built in 2023 as a holiday let.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. One room has a king-size bed, the other has two singles. It has a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped.

The living, kitchen and dining area is all open plan. There's a wood burning stove. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine. The entrance and everything downstairs is level and there's a walk-in shower, so it suits people with limited mobility.

Outside, there's a decked area and an enclosed lawn. It's secure for dogs. You can bring two pets. There's also bike storage.

The cottage is on the edge of the village, so it's quiet but you can walk to the local pub. Earlston has a couple of places to eat. For a bigger shop, you're about a 20-minute drive from Galashiels or Kelso.

You're well placed for getting out. The Southern Upland Way passes nearby for walking. There's a golf course in Earlston, and horse riding is available locally. You can drive to Edinburgh in about an hour, or get the bus. The train from Tweedbank station, which is about 15 minutes away by car, goes straight into the city.

Facilities: Parking on site. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair. WiFi is provided.
