Bridge Cottage is on the edge of Earlston, looking out at fields. It's detached. It was finished in 2023, so everything is new and works.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one double and one with two singles. One bathroom with a shower. Everything is on one level, and the entrance has no step, so it's accessible for wheelchairs.
The main room is open plan, with the kitchen, dining table, and sofa area altogether. There's a wood burner for cooler evenings. Doors lead out to a deck, and there's an enclosed lawn beyond that.
Facilities are straightforward: washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking for two cars just outside. Bedding and towels are included. A cot and highchair are there if you need them. You can bring two dogs.
The village has a shop and a pub you can walk to. There's a golf course just outside the village, and you can arrange horse riding locally.
You're in a good spot for getting about. Edinburgh is about an hour's drive. You can also get the train from Tweedbank, which is a ten minute drive away.
For local history, you've got Dryburgh Abbey and Abbotsford House, Sir Walter Scott's home, both within twenty minutes. For walks, the Scottish Borders countryside starts right outside.
