Hillcrest is on the edge of Bolsover in Derbyshire. It's a detached house, so there are no neighbours attached. You get the whole place and the garden to yourselves.
It sleeps ten people. Five bedrooms, four bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. The house used to be a spa, so it's got a lot of the original features. There's a jacuzzi, a steam room, and a sauna. There's a separate relaxation area with lounge beds.
There's also a party room with a karaoke machine and a bar. The ceilings light up. The sound system plays throughout the whole house. You can connect your phone to it.
The kitchen is big, with a double oven and a dishwasher. The dining table extends to seat everyone. There's a 75 inch TV in the main lounge.
Outside is a gravel patio and an astroturf garden with seating.
Bolsover Castle is right next door. It's English Heritage and the views from up there are good. Chesterfield town centre is about fifteen minutes by car. The famous Crooked Spire church is there.
The Peak District starts about twenty minutes away. For planning days out, the Peak District National Park site is useful. Chatsworth House is half an hour's drive. Hardwick Hall is about the same.
Facilities wise: everything is included, bedding and towels, WiFi, parking on the drive. There's a washing machine and a cot if you need it. No pets, sorry.
