Dunstone Cottage is in Shaugh Prior on Dartmoor. It's a stone barn, right at the end of a private lane next to our farmhouse. We converted it.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which is accurate. It's comfortable and well-fitted. The main room is open plan, kitchen at one end, sitting area at the other. The bed is in a separate room with its own shower.
You get your own garden. It's enclosed, with a patio and lawn. The view from there is across fields. It's very quiet.
The River Plym is about a six minute walk down the lane. You're straight onto the moor from there. Good walking and cycling. Drakes Trail is nearby if you want a longer route.
Burrator Reservoir is about ten minutes by car. Plymouth is roughly twenty minutes if you need a supermarket or want the city. The coast, like Salcombe or Newton Ferrers, is about forty-five minutes.
For things to do: Dartmoor National Park has all the walking information. Buckland Abbey is close. The National Trust has other properties nearby too.
What's here: there's a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and TV. There's parking right outside. The garden has a barbecue. We can provide a cot and highchair. You can bring two dogs.
