Dunstone Cottage
Dunstone Cottage is in Shaugh Prior, right on Dartmoor. It's down a private lane at the end. It's a stone barn, converted for guests. We live in the farmhouse next door.
It's for two people. One bedroom with an en-suite shower room. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-finished. It's open plan downstairs, kitchen and living area together.
The garden is yours. It's got a lawn and a patio with a table. The view from there is over fields. It's very quiet.
You're on the edge of the open moor. You can walk straight out from the door. The River Plym is about a five minute walk down the lane. For cycling or a longer walk, Drakes Trail is nearby, it goes from Tavistock to Plymouth.
Burrator Reservoir is about ten minutes by car. It's good for a walk around the water. Plymouth is twenty minutes away if you need the city or the ferry. For a day out, the South Devon coast is within an hour's drive. Salcombe or Newton Ferrers are nice.
The cottage has a dishwasher and a washing machine. There's parking right outside. WiFi is included. You can bring up to two dogs. There's a stairgate fitted if you need it.
