Southlake Barn
Southlake Barn is a modern barn conversion in Dousland. It's detached, up its own private lane, so it's quiet. It's stone, so it looks older, but inside it's quite light and new.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. The main thing to know is that you go up outside wooden steps to get to the front door, because the living area is on the first floor. Once you're up there, there's a decked balcony that looks out over the fields.
You're right on the edge of Dartmoor National Park. The moor starts practically at the end of the lane. Burrator Reservoir is about a mile away, which is a popular spot for a walk.
The village has a pub. For shops, Tavistock is about six miles away. It's got a good market and all the usual things. There's a post office and a few other bits within a couple of miles.
Inside, it's got what you'd expect. Wood burning stove, dishwasher, wifi, TV. Washing machine, parking. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. You can bring up to two dogs.
