Cledan Cabin

Cledan Cabin is in Glanhanog, mid-Wales. It's a basic little cabin. It's just for two people, with a double bedroom and a shower room. There's a sofa bed too, but honestly, it's best for a couple. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's clean and functional.

The main thing is the position. It's on the side of the valley, looking out over the Carno Valley. Honestly, the view is the point. You sit on your deck with a hot tub and you just look at it. The hot tub is electric, easy to use.

It's a proper getaway. Your phone signal will be patchy. The WiFi works fine for checking things, but it's not super high-speed. Inside, there's a kitchenette with the essentials to cook, and it's heated electrically so you're warm.

The local village, Carno, is three miles down the valley. It has a decent village shop and a pub. For anything bigger, you drive to Machynlleth or Newtown. They're about 20-30 minutes away. They've got proper supermarkets, some interesting shops, and places to eat.

You're about 45 minutes from the coast at Aberdyfi. Barmouth is a bit further. If you want mountains, southern Snowdonia and Cadair Idris are within an hour's drive. For walking, the Elan Valley reservoirs or Hafren Forest are good, managed places to start.

Facilities wise: the bedding and towels are included, you've got parking right by the cabin, and there is WiFi. It's not suitable for pets, sorry. You can book it with the other cabins nearby for a bigger group.
