The Smithy
The Smithy is one of four cottages on a farm just outside Chulmleigh. It's a converted barn, so it's got high beamed ceilings and feels quite open. It sleeps four people, and both bedrooms have their own bathrooms, which is handy.
The farm has about twenty acres of land you can walk around. There are paths by the river and through some fields. You can fish in the lake and the rivers on the property as part of your stay. There's also a shared sauna and cold plunge you can book a session in.
Chulmleigh village is less than a mile away. It's a small place with a few shops and pubs. You can walk there in about twenty minutes if you don't mind a hill.
You're about half an hour from Dartmoor if you want proper walking. Exmoor and the north Devon coast, like Westward Ho!, are about an hour's drive. Exeter is in the other direction, also around forty minutes to an hour.
For facilities: there's parking right outside, a washing machine, and a wood burner. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog.
