The Coach House
The Coach House is in Chulmleigh, on the hill. It's a detached stone place at the back of the old coaching inn. You get a private cobbled patio looking onto our garden.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, and each one has its own bathroom. That's quite handy. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well looked after. There's a wood burner in the living room. We'll leave you some wood to get started.
The stairs are fine, just normal stairs. We've put a stairgate at the top.
You're right in the village. There's a shop, a couple of pubs that do food, and a restaurant about fifty yards away. There's a small par 3 golf course just up the road, maybe two minutes' walk. Two bigger courses are about ten minutes away by car.
For a day out, South Molton is a ten minute drive. They've got a market on Fridays. Barnstaple is about half an hour. That's where you'll find the cinema, theatre, and a bigger shops. The RHS Garden Rosemoor is lovely, about twenty minutes away.
The north coast beaches, like Croyde and Woolacombe, are about forty-five minutes' drive. They're good for surfing. Both Dartmoor and Exmoor are within half an hour if you want proper walking.
What's here: parking on the drive, a washing machine, dishwasher, Wi-Fi. Bedding and towels are included. We can put a cot and highchair in for you. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
