Ash Mill Cabin
Ash Mill Cabin is ours. It's in Churchwater, on the edge of our land here in Devon. You get to it via a long track through the woods. It's peaceful.
The cabin sleeps two. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's a four star, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped. The heating comes from an Aga in the kitchen, so the place is always warm. There's also a wood burner in the living room. The garden is enclosed and there's a gate straight into the woods.
You're welcome to walk on our land. There are forty acres of woods and a stream. It's quiet. You'll only really see us if you need something.
The nearest shop and pub are in Chulmleigh village, about four miles away. South Molton is a market town about fifteen minutes by car. Barnstaple is half an hour for things like a cinema or the Pannier Market.
If you want to go out for the day, the coast at Croyde or Woolacombe is roughly forty minutes' drive. The Tarka Trail for cycling is at Great Torrington, which is about twenty-five minutes. We're between Dartmoor and Exmoor, both are around forty-five minutes to an hour to get into the main parts.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, TV. Bedding and towels are included. Parking for one car right by the cabin. We accept up to two dogs.
