Old Dairy

The Old Dairy is a barn conversion on our farm just outside Chulmleigh. It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well equipped.

We're on 20 acres here. You can walk around the fields and woods. There's a river and a fishing lake on the property. If you're into fishing, it's free for guests. Brown trout, salmon, that sort of thing.

The barn itself is open plan downstairs. The ceiling is high and beamed. There's a wood burner for cooler evenings. The kitchen and bathroom are modern but fitted to suit the old building.

Chulmleigh village is less than a mile away. It's a small place with thatched cottages, a few shops, and some pubs that do food. There's also an Indian restaurant.

For a day out, Dartmoor and Exmoor are both about a 40 minute drive. The North Devon coast, like Westward Ho! or Instow, is within half an hour. Exeter is about 45 minutes away.

If you fancy using a pool or a gym, Highbullen Golf and Country Club is a short drive from here. You can pay to use their facilities.

Facilities here include a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside. One well-behaved dog is welcome.

This place connects through a door to another barn called Cider Barn, if you're booking with another couple. We've got a few properties together here.
