Oak Grove
Oak Grove is a modern chalet in Fernhurst. It's attached to one other. It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. There's two bathrooms, which is useful.
The place gets good light. The first floor has nice views over the countryside. Out the back, the garden is quiet and private. It's surrounded by oak trees. There's a summer house with a full-size table tennis table in it, for when the weather's good.
It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable, not grand. You'll find a dishwasher, washing machine, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking. You can bring one dog.
Fernhurst itself is a small village. The Blackdown hill is right there if you want a walk. The local pub is about a ten-minute walk away.
Haslemere is three miles up the road. It's a small town with shops and a station. Midhurst is about a ten-minute drive. You can see the Cowdray House ruins there. Petworth, with Petworth House and its art, is about twenty minutes away. That's a National Trust place.
If you're into cars or horse racing, Goodwood is within half an hour. The South Downs National Park is on the doorstep. Their website is good for walking routes.
