Lochboisdale Cottage

This is Lochboisdale Cottage. It's on a croft by the loch in South Uist. The house is detached. You look out over the water to the hills.

It sleeps seven. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms. It's a 3 Star, so it's comfortable and clean, not luxurious. Everything works. The garden is fully fenced, which is good if you're bringing a dog. There's a patio out the back with a bench.

You can walk down to the shoreline in about five minutes. It's stony there, but the views across to South Lochboisdale are nice. For proper sandy beaches, you drive ten minutes to the west coast.

The local shop is two miles away. There's a petrol station there too. A couple of cafes do good baking. The pub in Lochboisdale village is about the same distance.

You're well placed for exploring. You can drive up the causeway to Benbecula and North Uist, or down to Eriskay. The ferry to Barra goes from here. For Harris and Lewis, you'd drive up to Berneray for the ferry.

Inside, it's got a woodburning stove, a washing machine, a dishwasher, and wifi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them. The entrance is level and there's parking right outside.
