It's Kilbride Cottage, on South Uist in the Outer Hebrides. It's a one-bedroom place, sleeps two. No pets.
The cottage itself is a 4 Star, which means it's warm, comfortable and well looked after. Not a hotel, but you won't be wanting for anything. It's on our working croft, so there are sheep and some ducks and chickens around. The cottage is from 1909, but we've done it up properly inside.
You get the sea view from the front. The beach is about a quarter of a mile down the track. There's a patio with a table, and parking right outside.
Inside, there's one bedroom, one bathroom with a shower, a living room and a kitchen. It's all there: washing machine, TV, WiFi, bedding and towels are included. The heating's electric and it's all worked into the price.
For a pint or a meal, the nearest pub and restaurant is about half a mile away. The main shop is three miles.
You're right in the middle of it here for exploring. All the Uist islands are linked by causeway now, so you can drive from Berneray down to Eriskay without a ferry. The beaches are endless. You can see eagles, otters, seals. In summer, you might spot whales or basking sharks from the shore.
If you fancy a day trip, you can drive over to Eriskay and catch the ferry to Barra. Or go north to Lochmaddy for boat trips or the Uist Outdoor Centre for kayaking. There's a lot of history around too, like the Kildonan Museum or the Bonnie Prince Charlie sites.
