Haycart Barn
Haycart Barn is on the edge of Stratton St Michael. It used to be a barn, part of the old farm here. It's been done up now, so it's all one level inside, no steps. Good if stairs are a problem.
It sleeps five people. There are two bedrooms and one bathroom. It has a 4 Star rating. It's a modern conversion but they kept some of the old beams. The big windows look out over the garden and the fields. You can sit and watch the rabbits.
The garden is enclosed. There's parking right outside.
Long Stratton is the nearest proper place, about two miles. It has shops, a couple of pubs that do food, and a supermarket. Diss is about fifteen minutes away by car. Norwich is maybe twenty-five minutes. It's a good spot if you want to be quiet but still be able to get to things.
The coast is a drive. Southwold and Walberswick are probably forty-five minutes. The Broads are closer, maybe half an hour if you go to Wroxham. The National Trust looks after places like Blickling Hall and Felbrigg Hall, which are good for a wander. There’s also Banham Zoo not far away.
Inside, it's all open plan. There's a kitchen area, a sitting area, and a dining table. It's got WiFi. There's a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to three dogs.
