Situated just 10 miles outside Fort William, this charming detached cottage is in the perfect location to enjoy some of the most spectacular scenery in the Scottish Highlands. The living area downstairs is all open plan offering a real sense of space and a lovely area to relax in front of the wood burner after a busy day’s adventure! The kitchen comes fully equipped and has everything you need to rustle up your favourite meals, as well as a dining table with room enough to fit four people should you wish to do a spot of entertaining. To the rear of the property is an enclosed garden area, where you can enjoy the unparalleled views onto the Grey Corries and some incredibly dramatic sunsets from the comfort of the property. There is a shower room with a double cubicle downstairs and the bedroom upstairs has a kingsize bed.
Caberfeidh Cottage is on the A82 which takes you to Inverness. A day trip to Skye is only a couple of hours away, and Glencoe can be reached within an hour. You can also easily get to Aviemore or over to the Cairngorms so you won’t be short of places of natural beauty to visit during your stay!
Closer to home, Fort William has a wide selection of amenities on offer, including a variety of shops, cafés, restaurants and supermarkets to cater for all your needs and even an independent cinema if the weather isn’t so good! Recognised as the Outdoor Capital of the UK, the options are limitless, to try something new with an incredible backdrop. For the Harry Potter fans amongst us, the steam train leaves Fort William, and goes trips to Mallaig and over the much revered ‘Harry Potter Bridge’ at Glenfinan Viaduct.
The white sand beaches at Morar and Arisaig are worth a visit and are some of the prettiest in Scotland.
