The Hatchery

This beautifully renovated character cottage is a semi-detached barn conversion, set alongside the river on the edge of the stunning Lincolnshire Wolds. You can watch the river flow by as you relax in the hot tub whilst looking out over your private stretch of river and at the period mill in the background. Feed the ducks from your kitchen window or simply bask in the sunshine on your private patio whilst kingfishers and grey wagtail fly by. River views can also be enjoyed from the first floor living room. Otters are frequently spotted in this stretch of river and there is even a platform in the river for them to soak up the sunshine on.

Located in a charming village 4 miles from the Georgian market town of Louth and just 12 miles from the coast with incredible sandy beaches, where you can enjoy miles of walks as well as visiting traditional seaside towns and the resorts of Skegness and Mablethorpe. Louth has been hailed as a ‘food mecca’ by The Hairy Bikers, or you can stroll ¼ mile along the river bank to the nearby pub, known locally as ‘The Splash’, for good food and drink whilst enjoying the beer garden next to the river.
