Friskney Marshes as well as the nature reserve at Gibraltar Point are well known for their wildlife and are popular with bird watchers all year round. For more exotic wildlife, visit the Lincolnshire Wildlife Centre, just one mile away and featuring over 2, 000 birds alongside other animals, including the largest collection of Bengal tigers in Europe. Boston is very good for a day out with a regular market, and for the more energetic, the Boston Stump church tower to climb and enjoy the view. There are shops, two pubs and a playground for children in the village as well as fishing lakes nearby. There are good walks and cycle routes available throughout the area to explore and enjoy, with the nearby small town of Wainfleet with Bateman’s Brewery Visitor Centre also worth a visit.
