Well Cottage
Well Cottage is on Church Street in Cottesmore, Rutland. It's a thatched house, semi-detached. You can see the church from the front windows.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. The place is cosy and clean.
The stairs are cottage stairs, so they're not the gentlest. We've put a stairgate at the top.
There's a local shop about a minute's walk away. The village pub is less than five minutes walk. They do food.
Rutland Water is the main thing here. It's about ten minutes by car. You can hire bikes there, or go sailing. The cycle track around the reservoir is flat and good for families.
Oakham's the nearest proper town, about four miles. It's got shops and a supermarket. Stamford is beautiful, all old stone buildings, and is about a twenty minute drive.
Inside, there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, and WiFi. The garden is enclosed. There's parking for one car on the drive. You can bring up to two dogs.
We provide all the bedding and towels. There's a cot and a highchair in the cupboard under the stairs if you need them.
