The Cottage
The Cottage is in Greetham village in Rutland. It's a studio, so it's all one open space, but the bed is in its own little nook. It's just for two people.
It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well kept. Everything is on one level, so there are no steps inside. The bathroom has a walk-in shower.
Outside, there's a little patio with a table and chairs. It gets the sun in the morning. You can bring one dog.
Greetham is a quiet village. There are two pubs within walking distance, both serve food. You can start walks straight from the door.
Rutland Water is about a ten minute drive. You can cycle, walk, sail, or fish there. The birdwatching hide is good if that's your thing. The Rutland Water website has all the details.
Oakham is the nearest town, about four miles. It's got shops, cafes, and a castle. Stamford and Uppingham are a bit further and are nice for a wander. Barnsdale Gardens, near the water, are worth visiting.
For facilities, you've got your own parking spot right outside. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, and wifi. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them.
