Church Cottage is in Denford, right next to the village church. The River Nene runs at the bottom of the garden. It's detached and looks out over fields.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's a 4 Star place. The family has owned it since 1950, and we've recently refurbished it. The stairs to the master bedroom are a typical cottage staircase, so they turn a corner and are a bit steep. The other two bedrooms and a wet room are on the ground floor.
There's a local pub about 250 yards away. The shop is in Thrapston, which is just over a mile away. They've got cafes, takeaways, and a leisure centre with a pool.
The cottage has a games room with a pool table. There's an open fire in the living room. The kitchen is well equipped. You can bring one dog. Bedding and towels are included, and there's parking on the drive.
For local walks or cycling, the area is good. You can fish or canoe on the Nene. If you want a day out, Wickstead Park is about ten miles away. For historic houses, you've got Castle Ashby or Rockingham Castle within half an hour. Silverstone is about 35 miles if that's your thing.
