Clicker's Cottage is in Ringstead. It's a three bedroom place that sleeps five. We did it up a few years ago, so everything works and it's clean. It's got two bathrooms which helps.
There's a conservatory on the back. It's got a solid roof and proper heating, so you can use it even when it's cold.
The stairs are steep. They're the original cottage stairs. Just something to be aware of if you've got bad knees or very small children.
You're right in the village. There's a shop about a minute's walk away. A good fish and chip shop and an Indian takeaway are just round the corner. The pub is a bit further, maybe a 15 minute walk.
For a day out, Stanwick Lakes is about three miles away. It's good for a walk or a cycle. Stanwick Lakes has a play area for kids and you can hire bikes there.
Kinewell Lake is even closer, just outside the village. It's quieter, more for a stroll.
If you need a bigger town, Thrapston is two miles away for supermarkets. Rushden Lakes shopping centre is about six miles. It's built around the water, so you can hire canoes there too.
For history, there's a lot of big houses nearby. Rockingham Castle, Boughton House, and Sulgrave Manor are all within a 30 minute drive. Silverstone is about 40 minutes away if that's your thing.
The house has a woodburning stove, dishwasher, washing machine, and WiFi. The garden is enclosed. We provide a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
