Robin's Nest
Robin's Nest is on Church Street in Edwinstowe. It's more or less in the middle of the village. It's semi-detached and sleeps three.
It's got two bedrooms. The main one is a galleried room overlooking the living space. There's a single bedroom on the ground floor. One bathroom with a shower.
The kitchen, dining, and living area are all open plan. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher. Parking is on site. We take one well-behaved dog. Bedding and towels are included.
The stairs up to the galleried bedroom are a feature, so they're a bit steeper and more open than normal stairs. Just something to be aware of.
You're a five minute walk from the main gate into Sherwood Forest Country Park. The Major Oak is in there. The village has a shop, a couple of pubs that do food, and a restaurant, all a few minutes away.
Within a half hour drive you've got a few other big spots. Clumber Park is nice for a walk or a bike ride. Sherwood Pines has cycling trails and Go Ape. Rufford Abbey Country Park is about twenty minutes away. There's also Thoresby Hall and the Adrenalin Jungle activity place if that's your sort of thing.
For wider trip planning, the National Trust and Visit Nottinghamshire sites are useful.
