Midcraigs is on the A83 road, about three miles from Campbeltown. It's a detached house, so no neighbours attached. You're up on a bit of a slope, so you get a good view out over the fields and towards the sea.
It was all done up a few years ago. The main room has a wooden floor and a wood burner. It feels quite new inside. There's a sort of mezzanine level above the living room with a big TV, a Playstation, and table football. They've left some games and sports kit you can borrow.
It sleeps five people. There's a double bedroom on the ground floor, which is handy. Upstairs there's a room with three single beds. There's also a sofa bed on the mezzanine if you need it. There's one bathroom, with a shower and a separate wet room on the ground floor. The place is wheelchair friendly at the entrance.
The garden is enclosed, which is good if you've got dogs. You can bring up to two pets. They leave a welcome pack for them. There's parking right there.
Campbeltown is a five minute drive. It's a proper harbour town. It's got shops, a few pubs and places to eat, and a couple of museums. There are three whisky distilleries there if that's your thing: Springbank, Glen Scotia, and Kilkerran. You can get tours.
The coast is close. There are some really nice beaches about two miles away. You can walk to Davaar Island from Campbeltown at low tide to see the cave painting. For golf, there are three courses nearby.
From here you can explore down Kintyre or look across to Arran and Islay. The coast road is good for cycling if you're into that.
Facilities in the house: it's got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and a cot and highchair if you need them. All the bedding and towels are included. There's a wood burner and they provide the wood.
