The Coach House
The Coach House is in Great Easton. It's part of our main house, a stone building that's listed. It's a bit unusual, but it's spacious.
It sleeps five. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean, not modern. There are a lot of books here, over four hundred. The furniture is mostly old pieces, family things.
You have your own garden area. There's a garden room that looks out onto it. It's a good spot to sit.
The village is quiet. There's a pub about a three minute walk away, they do food. A farm shop is just around the corner. For trains, Market Harborough station is five miles away. You can get to London in about an hour from there.
For things to do, Rutland Water is close by for cycling or walking. The historic towns like Uppingham, Oakham and Stamford are all within a half hour drive. National Trust Midlands has a list of houses and gardens nearby, like Althorp. Leicester is about a 40 minute drive for the cathedral or the National Space Centre.
Facilities: there's parking, a washing machine, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's bicycle storage. Sorry, no pets.
