There are plenty of things to see in the area, with the North Sea Observatory at Chapel St Leonards on the beach, which is well worth a visit about 2 miles away, then just a little further north, you will find Anderby Creek which has a popular café to enjoy after a stroll along the beach. Catch the bus south along the coast to visit the traditional seaside resort of Skegness as well as Fantasy Island at Ingoldmells with its huge funfair and market. Gibraltar Point nature reserve is approximately a 30-minute drive away to the south of Skegness, and inland there are the market towns of Alford, Louth and Horncastle to explore. Furthermore, enjoy a day out on the coast visiting the traditional seaside resort of Mablethorpe, travel inland to explore the Lincolnshire Wolds or enjoy some motor racing at Cadwell Park. Lincoln makes a great day out with its cathedral, castle and Magna Carta visitor centre. There is a large, lockable storage area for all your fishing gear. Beach 2 miles.
