The Glen
The Glen is a stone cottage, on its own, up in the Ystwyth Forest. It's part of the Hafod Estate. It's quiet and the views are good. You'll see a lot of trees.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 2 Star place, so it's comfortable and clean but don't expect luxury. It's got a wood burner, which is nice in the evening. There's an open plan living area downstairs. The WiFi works but it's not super fast, you're in a forest.
You can bring two dogs. There's a highchair if you need one. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is right outside.
You're about three miles from the nearest shop or pub that does food. So you'll want to plan your meals. There's a BBQ you can use.
For walks, you step straight out into the forest. There are paths by the river and to some waterfalls. Devil's Bridge is about a 15 minute drive. It's a famous spot with waterfalls and walking trails. The coast at Cardigan Bay is roughly half an hour by car. You might see dolphins from the shore. Aberystwyth is also about half an hour away. It's a university town with a seafront and a castle.
