Ty Mari is in Cwmystwyth in mid Wales. It's an old stone cottage that's about two hundred years old, end of terrace. It sleeps six, with three bedrooms upstairs and one bathroom. You can book it with the cottage next door, Penroc, if you need space for ten people. There's a soundproof door between them.
The main room is all open plan. There's a big stone fireplace with an electric stove, the kitchen, and the dining area. The ceiling has the original beams. There's a large picture window with a window seat. The mobile signal isn't great here, so we've left a landline for emergencies.
Upstairs there's one king size bedroom and two rooms with twin beds. The bathroom has a bath with a handheld shower attachment, but there's no separate shower cubicle. There's a heated towel rail and a drying cupboard.
Outside, there's a separate heated garden room with light and power. The garden is fenced and has good views. There is parking.
You're allowed to bring up to two dogs. The stairs are typical cottage stairs, so they're a bit steep. It's not suitable for people with significant mobility issues.
The nearest shop and pub are in Pontrhydygroes, about three miles away. For walks, you're right on the edge of the Cambrian Mountains. The Visit Wales walking page has some good ideas. The Hafod Estate is nearby for shorter strolls. Devil's Bridge is about a 20 minute drive. For a day at the coast, Aberystwyth is just under half an hour away.
What's here: all the utilities are included. There's a TV, WiFi, a washing machine, and bedding and towels are provided. There's a garden with furniture and on-site parking.
