Cressfield Villa

Cressfield Villa is in Ecclefechan. It's a detached house on the edge of the village, right next to the hotel. You get your own garden here, and you're also welcome to use the hotel's grounds to sit or wander.

It sleeps seven. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean. It's a good size inside.

The main thing is the location. You're literally 20 yards from the hotel, which does breakfast and evening meals. That's very handy. There's a shop about half a mile away.

You're right off the M74, so it's easy to get to if people are coming from different places. Gretna Green is about a 15 minute drive south. The village itself is small. The National Trust for Scotland looks after the cottage where Thomas Carlyle was born, if that's of interest.

For a day out, you can be in Dumfries in under half an hour. The Southern Upland Way runs nearby if you like walking. The Solway Coast is about 25 minutes by car. If you fancy a longer trip, the Borders or up into Galloway Forest Park are within an hour.

What's here: There's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. You can bring up to two dogs.
