Ty'n Y Ffordd is in Llanymawddwy, in the Snowdonia National Park. It's a detached house, so no one's attached. You get the garden and patio to yourselves. The view is just fields and hills.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and in good nick. The wood burner works well. There's a games room in the outbuilding, which is handy if the weather turns.
The property has got grab rails in one of the bathrooms and the bedroom is on the ground floor, so it works if someone has mobility issues.
The location is quiet. The nearest pub is about two miles away in the village. The nearest shop is three miles, in Mallwyd. You can get supermarket deliveries from Asda, Morrisons, or Tesco.
You're right between Dolgellau and Machynlleth, both about a 15-minute drive. Dolgellau is good for shops and cafes. Machynlleth has the Centre for Alternative Technology.
For walking, you're at the foot of both Cader Idris and Aran Fawddwy. The Coed y Brenin mountain biking centre is about 20 minutes north. For the coast, Barmouth and Aberdyfi are roughly half an hour's drive.
The facilities list is pretty accurate. It's got the washing machine, dishwasher, Wi-Fi, parking for a couple of cars. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair. No pets, sorry.
