Ty'n Y Ffordd

This is Ty'n Y Ffordd. It's in Llanymawddwy, up near the head of the Mawddwy valley in Snowdonia. The cottage is detached and stands on its own.

It sleeps six in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, which helps. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's warm, well looked after, and everything works. There's a wood burner for the evenings. Outside, there's an enclosed patio with a BBQ. Parking is right there.

The garden looks out onto fields and hills. It's very quiet. Lots of people come here to walk. You're right between Aran Fawddwy and Cader Idris if you're a proper walker. For something less strenuous, you can just follow the river. The air is clean.

Inside, it's got what you need: a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, TV. There's a games room with a pool table. We provide all the bedding and towels. You can have supermarket deliveries from Asda, Morrisons, or Tesco.

The nearest pub and restaurant is about two miles away. The nearest shop is in Dinas Mawddwy, three miles down the valley.

Dolgellau is about a 15 minute drive. Machynlleth is maybe 20 minutes the other way. Both are good for shops and cafes. From Machynlleth, you can visit the Centre for Alternative Technology.

Within half an hour you can get to Coed y Brenin for mountain biking, the Dyfi Osprey Project, or King Arthur's Labyrinth. The coast at Aberdyfi or Barmouth is about 40 minutes if the traffic is light.
