Ceunant

Ceunant is on our farm here in Aber Cywarch. It's a stone farmhouse, pretty old. You get to it by driving up the farm track across the fields. The place is surrounded by our land, about 450 acres of it. It's just sheep and hills out there.

It sleeps six people. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean. There's a big old fireplace in the main room. The beams are original. We put in a new heating system a couple of years ago so it's warm.

The stairs are a bit steep, like you'd expect in an old place. The entrance and the main rooms are all on one level, so it's okay if someone has trouble with steps getting inside.

You're welcome to bring up to two dogs. The garden is enclosed so they can't wander off. There's parking right outside.

For facilities, there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. All the bedding and towels are included. You can use the woodburning stove if you want.

The village of Dinas Mawddwy is about ten minutes down the valley. There's a pub and a small shop there. For more shops and places to eat, Machynlleth and Dolgellau are market towns about a twenty minute drive away.

If you like walking, you're right in it. You can start from the door. Aran Fawddwy is the big one here. For a drive, you can get to the coast in under an hour. The National Trust Snowdonia site has ideas, and Eryri National Park is good for trail maps. Coed y Brenin forest, about twenty five minutes away, is known for mountain biking.

That's about it really.
