Bryn Salem
Bryn Salem is a detached cottage in Cwm Cewydd, in Powys. We're on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park, about 20 minutes from Machynlleth.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating. That means it's well-equipped and comfortable. It's detached, so it's just you.
The main thing is the outside space. There's a patio with a built-in barbecue, which is handy. There's also a hot tub that looks out over the fields. The garden is enclosed, which is good for dogs. We've even put in a tap for washing muddy dogs or bikes.
Inside, it's got a wood burner, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Parking is right there.
You can take up to two dogs. There's a village pub about a mile away that does food. The nearest shop is about the same.
For walking, you can start right from the door. The Cambrian Mountains and Cader Idris are close. The coast at Aberdyfi and Barmouth is about a 30 minute drive if you want a beach day. Machynlleth and Dolgellau are both market towns with shops and places to eat, about 15-20 minutes away in either direction.
