Cowtons' Old Dairy is in East Cowton village. It's a detached, single-storey building that used to be a dairy. It's for two people.
The main space is open plan. There's a kitchen area, a table, and two sofas. It's all on one level, though there are two steps down into the bedroom. The bed is a super king but it splits into two singles if you need that. The shower room is modern and has a good sized cubicle.
Outside, there's a gravelled courtyard with a bench and a small bistro set. It gets the sun in the evening.
In the village, there's a pub and a community-run shop. There's a pop-up cafe once a week. For a bigger shop, Northallerton is about nine miles away. That's where the Bettys tea room is.
You're between the Yorkshire Dales and the North York Moors. Both are about a 30 minute drive. Richmond is close, good for a walk by the river and the castle. Thirsk is nearby too, which is James Herriot country. For the coast, Saltburn-by-the-Sea is just under an hour away.
The property has a 4 Star rating. It's got things like a washing machine, dishwasher, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside. No pets.
