Cleveland View Cottage is in Streetlam. It's a single-storey place, all on the ground floor. That's good if you don't want stairs.
It sleeps four, but it’s one bedroom with a double bed. The other two sleep on the sofa bed in the living area. There's one bathroom, which is en-suite to the bedroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It feels modern inside, with underfloor heating everywhere except the bedroom. That's got a radiator.
The main thing is the hot tub on the patio. It's a good size. You get the patio to yourselves. There's a BBQ and some garden furniture. The view from there is straight out towards the Cleveland Hills.
It's a very quiet village. You'll need a car. Northallerton is about ten minutes' drive. They've got supermarkets, a few shops, and Bettys. The market is on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
For walking, it's right on the Coast-to-Coast path. You can pick it up from the door. The North York Moors are about twenty minutes east. Mount Grace Priory is close, maybe fifteen minutes. Good if you like history.
Within half an hour you can get to the North Yorkshire Moors Railway at Pickering, or the ruins of Rievaulx Abbey. York is further, about forty-five minutes to an hour. The coast at Saltburn or Whitby is probably forty minutes.
Facilities: it's got WiFi, a Smart TV, a washing machine, and parking on site. They provide bedding and towels. You can bring one dog. They have a cot and a highchair if you need them.
