Hare's Rest is a shepherd's hut in Hampton Bank, Shropshire. It's for two people. There's one room with a bed and a small bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable but no frills.
It's detached, in its own garden. You get a table and chairs outside, and a firepit. We leave you some wood. The garden isn't huge but it's private, and it looks out over fields towards the canal. You'll see the narrowboats go by.
You're right on the Llangollen Canal towpath, so you can step out the door and start walking. The village is quiet. There's a pub you can walk to. It's a working farm, so you'll hear sheep.
Ellesmere is about ten minutes' drive. It's got a decent co-op and some nice places by the mere. For a bigger trip, Oswestry and Shrewsbury are close. Chester is under an hour. The Pontcysyllte Aqueduct and Chirk Castle are both about a twenty minute drive away, maybe half an hour.
Inside, it's all one space. There's a small kitchen area with a hob and a microwave. The bed's made up for you. There's a shower, a toilet, and heating. WiFi works okay. You can park right next to it.
