This is Roslin Chapel Lodge in Midlothian. It's one of a pair of stone-built cottages, but you have your own bit of garden. It sleeps four, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, which is good. It's clean and comfortable.
The main thing is the location. It's in Roslin village, about seven miles south of Edinburgh. You can walk to Rosslyn Chapel from the cottage in a few minutes. It's worth seeing. The village has a couple of pubs that do food.
Edinburgh is a 20 minute drive, maybe half an hour if the traffic's bad. You can get the bus too. Once you're there, you've got the castle, the Royal Mile, all of it.
If you want to get outside, the Pentland Hills are right there for walking. There's a dry ski slope and a surf pool about a 10 minute drive away at Midlothian Snowsports Centre and Edinburgh International Climbing Arena. There's local fishing and horse riding too.
Inside, it's got the original stone walls. There's a gas fire in the living room that looks like a real fire. The kitchen is fine, it has a dishwasher. There's a washing machine, WiFi, TV, and parking right outside.
You can bring one dog. Bedding and towels are included. There's a highchair if you need it.
